The Collaborative's
mission is to open doors for growth and learning among those
called to develop ministering congregations by building links
among dioceses, seminaries, institutes, and programs.
News:

Collaborators offer
on-line courses for deacons and others developing diaconal
ministry.
Deacons
Phina Borgeson, Susanne Watson Epting and John Willets
are presenting courses through CALL at the Church Divinity
School of the Pacific.
With a revised start date of March, courses will be discounted
for those who are members of the North American Association
for the Diaconate, but are open to all interested people.
Willets' "Learning Foundations for Diaconal Ministry" will
help those with responsibility to those preparing for ordination
and to deacon groups of lifelong learners, as well as those
who just want to know more about current adult learning
theory and how it relates to the church's diakonia.
Watson Epting's "Passions, Problems, Possibilities and Processes" will
focus on dealing with issues in the congregation, but certainly not limited
to churchy issues.
In "Multiplying Ministry" Borgeson will offer
foundational ideas and identify key skills in developing
community ministry.
